Each year, the Forum hosts an annual Summit, an annual working meeting of nearly 200 national leaders focused on advancing the economies of inner cities. The ICEF Summit is the only national convening on business-led inner city economic development in America. It is structured as a highly participatory agenda-setting meeting, rather than a conference. The annual event provides a premier opportunity to meet a diverse leadership group and build relationships with businesses, practitioners, investors and decision-makers from across the country. At the Summit, Forum members learn what is working and where challenges remain, through cutting edge research and the presentation of exciting new insights and ideas. It is a unique platform that allows leaders in inner city economic development to collaborate and generate a common national agenda for change
